In northen part of India Ramlela is considered as the backbone of the celebration of this festival. This Ramlela starts from the first day of Navaratri and ends with the Dusshera Day. In Ramlela the main and historic scenes of Lord Rama’s life are being represented and also the main significence of Bharat Milap comes under the main section. The play continues till the day Dussehra and on the last day after Sunset the effigies of ten faced Ravana takes place.
